4 hours (Time can vary depending on staff size) Taught mostly with landmarks as apposed to geometry! Up to approx. 10 participants Participants will learn to take full mouth x-rays quickly & easily I will demonstrate every position on a cat and dog skull Each person will practice with my guidance Learn how to identify a diagnostic x-ray and fix mistakes I bring natural bone skulls with me (Cadaver heads can be used) Dental X-ray Positioning Guide & live animal positioning video included

Time needed varies with amount of participants Prophy techniques: I will bring prophy instruments with me Discussion and demonstration on models of hand instrument usage I will walk your team through a proper Dental Prophylaxis - Step by Step. Extraction Instruments: I will bring extraction instruments with me -Which ones are recommended & discussion of basic techniques Nerve block placement Instrument sharpening instruction Clinic’s Instrument & equipment evaluation Live Patient Demonstration: (Only offered if anesthesia protocols are optimal) I will perform a complete dental prophylaxis on an employee’s dog Dog should be 20-40# with approximately Stage 2 Periodontal Disease I will take full mouth dental x-rays, perform a professional teeth cleaning and charting *Courses are RACE approved for CE credits for Veterinarians and Technicians
